Android 2.1 Update For Motorola Droid Delayed

If you were excited over the announcement of the Android 2.1 update for the Motorola Droid, you’ll probably want to hold on to that feeling, as there is a spot of bad news. Word is out that the update has been delayed, and to make things worse, there isn’t any release date mentioned in the leaked internal company documentation. If you were periodically checking Verizon’s website to see if the update was released on time, you’ll now know why the update isn’t on Verizon’s site yet. Hopefully Verizon won’t sit on this issue for too long. After all, we all want a bit more of that Android 2.1 goodness, right?
