Dell has unveiled its 3D-supporting S300w Short Throw Wireless Projector today. Considering that this projector weighs 6.8 pounds, including the built-in speaker and 8-watt RMS power supply, not to mention some useful technical specifications, it seems like a rather useful projector. If you’re interested in this projector, you’ll need to shell out $999 to pick it up, but we’re sure that’s just peanuts for you. Specifications of the S300w Short Throw Wireless Projector include:

Add to myYahoo!Editor's note about the Video: the demo was done on a vertical monitor, I shot it in portrait, you may have to turn you screen to watch it more comfortably.
[SXSW] Microsoft launched Windows Phone 7 at MWC in Barcelona and we saw the demo there, yesterday, the Microsoft representative at SXSW showed me a demo and I videotaped it, so, you can check it out. Windows Phone 7 is still in beta mode and the user interface is similar to the Zune HD's one is based on tiles that are visually appealing and friendly to the fingers. I like the design and the ease of use, the organization of the users' data with tiles and "hubs" brings most of the user's data access at the top level (the phone home page).

You might remember the WowWee Rovio robot guard dog that we brought to your attention some time back. Well, if the original $230 price tag was the reason you were holding back on this mobile webcam, the fact that it’s currently being offered for $99 (plus $5 shipping) might be enough to make you reach for your wallet, no? Apparently the offer is only good for 24-hours, so you might want to think quickly.

Add to myYahoo! How is it so easy for people to disclose information online? When I was younger, I had no problems sharing photos, personal information, and gossip on my MySpace page. Now, I've deleted my MySpace, pulled a lot of personal details from the webosphere, and I do my best to regulate
what ends up online. I have a facebook with about 900 friends, but I rarely use it. I'll share a few photos and post on a wall or two every couple of weeks, but ultimately, no matter what I do, I'm well aware that someone else is watching. The New York Times published an article discussing some new statistical research with online data mining. Certain tools have been developed to monitor patterns of behavior to predict personality traits. Imagine this scenario: an employer can predict what you will do based on a detailed record of what you have done online. Ack.Related posts:

It seems that everything in this world is trying to sprout an iPhone dock, and now Italian furniture manufacturer Natuzzi has come up with the Surround, and the magic feature? You guessed it, an iPod dock with two speakers. This music-oriented sofa sports a high-quality leather finish as well as a custom order option to select from a range of Natuzzi leather colors. Don’t suppose this will show up in Apple’s online store as an iPod accessory anytime soon.

Details on Apple’s iGroups patent have surfaced, thanks to the patent filing submitted. iGroups seems to be a new social networking application that allows members of a group attending an event to keep in touch using a variety of methods such as GPS coordinates and tokens to exchange encrypted information. Could the iGroups be the reason that Apple doesn’t want to see Google’s Latitude application on the iPhone?
